Frank began his dispute resolution career as a litigator at a major Canadian law firm, acting as counsel in a number of hearings over professional discipline, land use and development, commercial litigation, workplace and regulatory disputes. In 1994, he co-founded Stitt Feld Handy Houston, a new type of law firm focused on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR); this firm and its corporate affiliates became a leading ADR organization, and Frank’s ADR and ADR training practice dates from 1994. In 2004 he merged that firm with ADR Chambers to create Canada’s largest leading ADR training and service provider. Frank is now located in Australia and is a principal of The Trillium Group, the Australian organization he established in 1999 and now operates with Steve Lancken and Paul Gibson.
Steve is one of the most experienced mediators and ADR practitioners in Australia. He is hard working and energetic in his mediations. He will focus on creating an environment in which the best conversations can take place for effective negotiation, regardless of the state of the relationships of the parties to the conflict.
Paul’s career spans work as a successful line manager, company director and leading consultant in strategic management and organisational change, especially in situations involving turmoil and conflict. He has developed Business and Project plans and implemented organisational change while working with Boards, senior executives, employees, unions, governments and industry stakeholder groups in South East Asia, Europe and the USA. He has also done extensive training and development work to improve the capacity of those he has worked with.
