Francis (Frank) J Handy
Frank began his dispute resolution career as a litigator at a major Canadian law firm, acting as counsel in a number of hearings over professional discipline, land use and development, commercial litigation, workplace and regulatory disputes. In 1994, he co-founded Stitt Feld Handy Houston, a new type of law firm focused on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR); this firm and its corporate affiliates became a leading ADR organization, and Frank’s ADR and ADR training practice dates from 1994. In 2004 he merged that firm with ADR Chambers to create Canada’s largest leading ADR training and service provider. Frank is now located in Australia and is a principal of The Trillium Group, the Australian organization he established in 1999.
